كشف جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي سبب اغتيال فاروق سلامة أحد أبرز قادة كتيبة جنين شمال الضفة الغربية المحتلة.
وأصدر المتحدث باسم جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بيانًا أوضح فيه سبب اغتيال القائد فاروق سلامة بالاشتراك بين ثلاثة أجهزة للجيش (الشاباك وحرس الحدود ووحدة المستعربين).
وذكر بيان جيش الاحتلال أن الشهيد سلامة يقف خلف عملية قتل الضابط الإسرائيلي نعوم راز الذي قتل قبل أسابيع عدة، بالإضافة إلى تعاون سلامة مع مجموعة عرين الأسود التي تنشط في مدينة نابلس.
واتهم بيان جيش الاحتلال الشهيد فاروق سلامة بالتخطيط مع مجموعات عرين الأسود لتنفيذ عمليات عسكرية كبيرة ضد جنود الاحتلال.
