متى تنتهي “أربعينية” الشتاء؟

المربعانية أو (أربعينية الشتاء) مصطلح معروف في بلاد الشام ودول عربية عدة، يشير إلى بداية الأيام التي يشتد فيها البرد في فصل الشتاء، وهي مدة مهمة وحرجة خاصة على المزارعين والأراضي الزراعية، بسبب ارتفاع فرص حدوث الصقيع والانجماد الذي يتسبب بإفساد المحاصيل الزراعية، وسنتحدث فيما يلي عن أهم ما يميز أيام المربعانية عن بقية أيام الشتاء.

متى تبدأ “المربعانية” ومتى تنتهي؟

تبدأ المربعانية أو “أربعينية الشتاء” في بلاد الشام ومعظم الدول العربية في 21/ 22 كانون الأول/ديسمبر من كل عام، وتستمر مدة 40 يوما حتى نهاية شهر كانون الثاني/يناير.

أهم ما يميز “مربعانية” الشتاء

ارتبطت المربعانية في ذكريات وتجارُب الأجداد وأذهانهم بقدوم البرد والأمطار الأشد على مدار العام، وهو أمر يتفق مع العلم الحديث، بحيث تعمل الزاوية التي تدور بها الأرض على ازدياد عدد ونشاط المُنخفضات الجوية التي تؤثر على منطقة بلاد الشام وشبه الجزيرة العربية في هذه المدة.

يصبح مسار المُنخفضات الجوية مناسبا لتأثُر المنطقة بها بشكل أكبر، إذ تشهد المربعانية تسجيل أقل مُعدلات للحرارة على مدار العام، وأعلى معدلات للأمطار.

سميت المربعانية أو أربعينية الشتاء بهذا الاسم لأنها تستمر أربعين يوما.

و تُعتبر المربعانية الأبرد مناخيا، وهي الوقت الأنسب لوصول الكُتَل الهوائية القطبية المنشأ، بسبب ثبات الأنظمة الشتوية.

و تُشكل هذه المدة من الناحية المطرية ما نسبته 30-40% من مجموع الموسم المطري.
