بتكوين تواصل الانهيار وتفقد أكثر من 50% من قيمتها
انخفضت العملة الرقمية بتكوين انخفضت بالقرب من 34000 دولار، مسجلة خسائر بأكثر من 50 في المائة من قيمتها منذ ارتفاعها القياسي في تشرين الثاني/ نوفمبر.
وواصلت بتكوين، أكبر الأصول الرقمية، انخفاضها، يوم السبت، وخسرت أكثر من 50 في المائة من أعلى مستوى لها في نوفمبر، مع إضافة المزيد من الزخم لانهيار العملات المشفرة.
وانخفضت إلى 34.042.78 دولار يوم السبت، بانخفاض 7.2 في المائة، قبل تقليص معظم تلك الخسائر.
يوم الجمعة، كانت بتكوين قد تراجعت ستة بالمئة إلى 38250 دولارا، لتواصل التراجع إلى 7.2 في المائة.
وأدى انخفاض بتكوين منذ أعلى مستوى في نتشرين الثاني/ وفمبر إلى القضاء على أكثر من 600 مليار دولار من القيمة السوقية، وخسرت أكثر من 1 تريليون دولار من سوق التشفير الكلي.
بيتكوين (₿) (بالإنجليزية: Bitcoin) هي عملة مشفرة تم اختراعها في عام 2008 من قبل شخص أو مجموعة من الاشخاص مجهولي الهوية عرفوا باسم ساتوشي ناكاموتو، بدأ استخدام العملة في عام 2009 عندما تم إصدار تطبيقها كبرنامج مفتوح المصدر.
وبيتكوين هي أول عملة رقمية لامركزية، من دون وجود بنك مركزي، يمكن إرسالها من شخص إلى أخر عبر شبكة بيتكوين بطريقة الند للند دون الحاجة إلى طرف ثالث(وسيط كالبنوك).
وتشير تقديرات البحوث التي تنتجها جامعة كامبريدج إلى أنه في عام 2017، هناك ما بين 2.9 إلى 5.8 مليون مستخدم يستعمل محفظة لعملة رقمية، ومعظمهم يستخدمون البيتكوين.
